Phentermine Diet Pills

Phentermine
Information:
Oral Phentermine Hydrochloride is an appetite suppressant used for the short-term treatment of  obesity.  It is used in conjunction with a complete weight loss program.  Phentermine works by stimulating a gland, called the hypothalamus.  This stimulation affects neurotransmitters in the brain, resulting in a decrease in appetite.  Phentermine Hydrochloride is chemically similar to amphetamines and as a result, has the potential for psychological dependency.  It should be used with caution.

Phentermine Uses:
This medication is used as an appetite suppressant.  It is used in conjunction with an overall weight loss plan.

How to take Phentermine:
This medication is best taken on an empty stomach, one-half hour before breakfast.  Because this medication may cause sleeplessness, avoid taking a dose late in the day.  Take this medication only as prescribed.  Do not take it more often or for a longer period than directed.

Side Effects:
Dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset or constipation may occur for the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication.  These side effects should diminish over time.  If these effects persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor.

Precautions:
Inform your doctor of your complete medical history, particularly if you have high blood pressure, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes or emotional problems.  Consult with your doctor if you think you are pregnant or before breast-feeding.  Alcohol can increase unwanted side effects of dizziness, and its use should be limited.  This drug is not recommended for children.  Consult your doctor or pharmacist for further information.

Drug Interactions:
Always inform your doctor about all the medicines you use, both prescription and non- prescription.  This is particularly important if you take high blood pressure medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other weight loss medicine.  Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.

Important:
Appetite suppressants are not a substitute for a proper, well-balanced diet.  To obtain the best results, this medication must be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program.  Do not share this medication with others.

Missed Dose:
If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose.  Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule.

Storage:
Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.  Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
